Etnies Bowlmasters In The Cradle

For the second year, etnies is hosting a pure skateboarding event in the form of a bowl-riding contest on May 16-18, 2003 at The Cradle concrete skatepark in Brixlegg, Austria. This park, featuring a nice over-vertical capsule bowl (an overview is available at skateTHEcradle.com
), was built in 2001 by Dreamland, who also built the Burnside skatepark in the U.S. The bowl competition will be run in a jam session format with several heats of four skateboarders all competing together in ten-minute jams. The two best riders from each jam will advance until a final six contestants are chosen. These six will then battle it out for top honors. The prize money for the Etnies Bowlmasters is 10,000 Euro and the entry fee is 30 Euro. For entry, please contact monika.bocian@skateboardeurope.com
