Fabrizio Santos decided to stay in Australia after the World Cup contest for a week. He's filming with Bill Weiss for his Digital video part and Jaya Bonderov is shooting photos. The Breeze is supposed to fly back today from Oz.
Mike V is still busy getting his board company off the ground, recently adding Brazilian ripper Alysson Castro to the roster. With no team manager yet, Mike's been doing all he can to take care of those responsibilities.
Elissa Steamer went to San Francisco right when she got back from Australia last Monday to skate with her friends in Nor Cal. She's flying back to Florida this Wednesday, so she can finish filming for her Bootleg video part.
Carlos De Andrade and I(Team Mgr) went out over the weekend to try to shoot an Etnies ad with Lance Dawes. Unfortunately, Carlos ended up rolling his ankle really bad. Hopefully, he wont be out for too long.
Chris Lambert had a big week last week, coming home from Australia with some contest winnings. Chris says heҒs pretty much done with his Digital video part--he just needs a couple of last-minute tricks.
Lincoln Ueda and Jesse Fritsch left on Saturday with Tony Hawk to do a three-man demo in Indiana.
Rob G left last Friday for South America to do a Slap magazine tour with photographer Joe Brook for the next four weeks. Rob will be skating in Argentina and Brazil and will be gone until March 21.
Brian Patch also stayed in Australia after the World Cup contest last week. He flew up to Brisbane with his clothing sponsor (Billabong) to do some demos and skate.
Zered Bassett is flying in tomorrow to stay with me(Team Mgr) for a week. Its cold back East, so we decided to get him out here to warm, sunny California. He will be spending the next week skating, filming and shooting photos with me and Lance Dawes.
Josh Harmony is in Chicago right now, due back on March 3. On March 7, Josh and the rest of the Toy Machine team are flying to Spain for a filming mission. Be prepared to see a lot of good Josh coverage coming out soon.
Tony Silva has been skating with Leo Romero (Foundation and Emerica rider) a lot these last couple of weeks. They are both filming for the next Foundation video, which Tony is very excited about. HeҒs been learning new tricks at skateparks and then filming with Jason Hernandez (TransWorld filmer) and shooting photos with Joey Shigeo (Skateboarder photographer).
Ryan Sheckler came back from Australia last week with a 5th place contest showing under his belt. He skated very well the whole weekend and now hes back at home hitting the books and taking care of school business.
Billy Marks kickflip crooked the Mt. Sac hubba and 360-flipped the Diamond Bar school fourteen. Enough said.
