Mike Alessi Loses A Race

Feb 7 2003 / Friday

Clifford Adoptante has been out in Vegas at Carey Hart's house doing back flips into his foam pit.

Օ Chad Reed finished in 2nd place at the fifth round of Supercross at Anaheim Stadium this weekend. Chad was a half second behind the winner at the checkered flag! He is in 2nd place points race by only six points!

Tim Ferry is out of action for a while with a possible hole in his intestines. Tim rode the 250cc two-stroke bike for the first time in at least three years at Anaheim. Tim usually rides the Yamaha 450f four-stroke bike.

Օ Dayne Kinnaird from Australia took 2nd in the Winter X-Games VII at Aspen, Colorado without the use of a backflip! Dayne moved to the U.S. full time a couple of weeks ago.

Brian Deegan was injured a couple weeks ago doing a backflip and was not able to ride and defend his Gold medal. Brian got plenty of coverage at the X-Games anyway with his customized bike. It was tricked out by chopper legend Jesse James.

Օ Mike Alessi won three races at Glen Helen this weekend, but was taken out in the 125cc class. This take out was said to be the cause of some retaliation and ended up getting Jeff Alessi a broken arm!

Sean Hamblin got 6th place in the main with Dave Pingree behind him in 7th.
