o The Malloys are in California for a few more days before going back to Hawaii for the Backdoor Shootout to happen. Jun Jo, Aamion Goodwin, Jamie Sterling and Noah Johnson are also on teams for the shootout. Josh Loya and Jamie Sterling both just got back from Maui, where they went for a tow-in contest at Jaws that didn't end up happening because the waves never got up to twenty feet. They did, however, have a great tow-in expression session in fifteen to eighteen-foot surf.
o Saxon Boucher and Jason Bennett have been scoring some great waves at Baja Malibu during the last couple of swells and have been getting photos down there with Rob Keith for Surfer magazine.
o Todd Morcom is back in Hawaii after the Surf Expo trade show in Orlando, Florida last week.
