New BMX Store In Vancouver

Aug 19 2002 / Monday

Aversion BMX store in Vancouver, BC is the first of its kind in Canada—and
maybe even in North America. Instead of the usual dirty, messy BMX shop,
Aversion boasts a super-clean, minimal style—as you can see in the
photos. With a spare aesthetic, Aversion is well merchandised with the focus
on footwear, clothing and exclusive products—all aligned with BMX.
Owned by an actual BMX rider, Blaise Olsen, (who is also the owner of a
very successful hip-hop / record / skate-shop in Vancouver called FWUH)—and
staffed by Etnies riders Jason
Enns, Dustin Guenther and Dave Osato, Aversion is the hot shop in Canada
and is creating quite a nice buzz. It’s a super-cool place—the
Etnies Forward video premiered here and it totally went off. If you ever
find yourself in the Seattle or Vancouver area, please stop on by Aversion
BMX, located at 512 Beatty Street, or call (604) 684-4BMX. You’ll
be glad ya did.
