We did autograph-signings at Jacks Surf Shop and Huntington Surf & Sport. Chris, Keith, and Dan Malloyҗalong with Conan Hayesdrew huge crowds. From the time we got to HS&S on Friday until the Roxy people got there and kicked us out, we had a huge line of kids and adults waiting for autographs. We were also taking Polaroid photos of fans with the pros and giving the fans the pictures. This was a huge hitחpeople were following the pros around after the signing asking for pictures! I finally had to just tell the guys to take off or else they might be there all day. Saturday at Jacks, it looked like it was going to be a ghost town, but as soon as the guys sat down, a huge line formed and it was a similar scene to the day before. I had to keep running to my truck to get more posters. We ran about fifteen minutes into the next companyҒs promo because there were so many kids lined up. Both of the signings were by far the most successful that we have ever had for a surf event. Bill Keller was stoked and so were Jacks and HS&S.
