How
did you get started skating?
I saw some kids doing it. It looked cool, so I started doing it—probably
like 1989, or something in Fort Myers, Florida. It’s in between Miami
and Tampa on the West Coast of Florida. First it was my friend Sylvan and
then Gio—the Cedar Creek Kids. Cedar Creek was this massive apartment
building where four of my friends lived. I would get dropped-off there every
day.
