More unfortunate injuries...

Grant Langston
and Mike Brown both injured their
knees last week. LangstonՒs was a re-injure, taking him out for about
six weeks. Brown is not sure how many races he will miss.
Nick Wey is out with a knee injury that he acquired
just before Glen Helen and will miss a couple more weeks.
Օ Dave Pingree signed a deal with the Etnies-sponsored
Plano Honda team to ride the rest of the Nationals. Dave will start racing
with Plano next week.
Deegan and
OX are in Hawaii doing demos at
the fair.
Օ Jeremy Carter
took Brian Deegans spot in Hawaii for a week of
jump demos. Brian will go back next week to jump the rest of the shows.
ҕ Clifford Adoptante
started riding again this past weekend after a bad crash bruised his lungs.
Trigger Gumm is starting to ride again after having
surgery on his knee and ankle. Trigger will be up north this week at Castillo
ranch hitting some 200-plus jumps in preparation for his world-record attempt.
Օ Nicky Hayden won the Super Bike again on Saturday,
but a crash on Sunday set his bike on fire and he was not able to finish
the race. Nicky has such a big lead in the points, the DNF was not bad.
Tommy Hayden won the 600 Super-Sport on Sunday
and Roger Lee Hayden took third.
