Clifford Adaptonte got 2nd on Friday night

Clifford Adaptonte got 2nd on Friday night in the ESPN Moto-X
Championships in Cleveland. He also got a 2nd on Saturday night in the Freestyle
contest that left him in 2nd place in the World Title Chase. He took third
in the Big Air contest as well and qualified for the Big Air and Freestyle
events at X-Games.
Brian Deegan won
the Step Up contest and got fourth in the Big Air contest. Brian qualified
in all three disciplines for X-Games.
Jeremy Carter is
back riding after a crash at the Summer X-Games left him in a wheelchair
for four months with a badly broken ankle and torn-up knee. Jeremy leaves
on a tour at the end of April for a month.
OX had some bike trouble at the contest in Cleveland and missed the
cut by one spot for Big Air. OX is the first alternate for Big Air at Summer
X-Games.
Tommy Hayden won the Suzuki Superstock race by over eight seconds
on Sunday at Fontana. He got third in the Pro Honda Oils Supersport race
and Roger Lee Hayden got tenth. Roger Lee crashed out of the Formula Xtreme
race after a part on his bike came off due to someone bumping him at the
start of the race.
Nicky Hayden won the Chevy Trucks Superbike race on Sunday and took
a 3rd on Saturday. He is leading going into Sears point in Sonoma on May
3-5.
Jeremy "Twitch"
Stenberg is back in Lake Elsinore recovering from a collapsed lung,
lacerated liver, one broken rib, three badly bruised ribs and some screws
in the navicular bone in his wrist. Twitch will be out of action for two
to three months.
Mike Alessi won the 125 and 250 intermediate classes and also won
the 80 expert and 80 pro am, sweeping every Moto he entered.
