• Matt Chapman went out to Ocotillo Wells last weekend with Trigger, Ox, Fluffer and Cameron Steele. Simon Cudby from Racer X magazine came out to do an eight-page story on them. Some good footage was taken on some new jumps that were found. Ryan Capes broke his right wrist and dislocated his left wrist when he came up short on a jump next to camp.
• Brian Deegan was at home doing back flips, getting ready for the next X-Games qualifier in Bakersfield on November 15-16.
• Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg has been in Germany for the last week doing a freestyle contest. He will be doing five more shows in Germany over the next ten months. Twitch has a hernia that he’s having surgery on in the next week or two.
• Mike Alessi did two Northern California races and, once again, won every moto this weekend.
