Nov 2 2001 / Friday

On, Thursday, October 25th, the San Dimas Active ride shop was in full
effect. Chad Otterstrom, Matt Hammer, Gabe Taylor and
many others showed up to support the premiere of "One"
a film by Neil Goss. Thanks to everyone who showed up to support
the cause! "One" will be out in stores early November.
Be sure to check it out…

In other news, Chad Otterstrom was in town for the weekend visiting
some of Active Ride Shop's busiest stores (Temecula, San Dimas and Irvine
locations) to sign autographs and hang with kids. He's back in Colorado
shredding the resorts (Copper, Loveland and Keystone).

Matt Hammer is currently in Oregon shooting with Chris Owen and
a few others. He'll be in Oregon for the rest of the week and then plans
to move to Mammoth for the season. Mammoth just got a foot on Oct. 30
- first dump of the season!

Check out Janna Meyen kickin some ass at this
web site.

Nicolas Droz will be attending the on-snow demos in France (les
dues alps) to show support for his sponsors.

Dionne Delesalle, Kevin Sansalone, Roberta Rodger,
Risto Scott and the rest of the Canadian posse will be shredding
again as soon as the season starts up.

Willie Yli-Luoma just got back from Les Diablerie where he and
the rest of his board sponsor team just finished shooting for their catalog.

Last Friday, October 26th The Stamnes family and friends put on
the first annual "Scott Stamnes Give to Kids Fund Memorial Halloween
Party". Scott Stamnes represented ThirtyTwo and
Etnies since 1997. "He was a true northwest ripper. His love
for fun, family and friends made him an incredible person. His death is
a tragedy and he is missed and loved by people all over the world".
Mervin manufacturing the makers of Lib Tech, Gnu and Supernatural snowboards
dedicated a special snowboard and skateboard in memory of Scott. For inquiries
or donations call Mike Stamnes at (206) 932-1459 or email at mstamnes@home.com
